The main duties will include
Picking / Packing.
Use of electrical and ride on Manual Handling Equipment within large racked and aisled warehouse to pick a variety of goods.
Staking items in on pallets and in roll cages
Using LLOPT’S guided by digital wrist ATM’S and triggers scanners.
Environment can be either ambient or a chiller -1 degree.
This is a role which includes some heavy lifting and repetitive actions in the picking and staking of cages. A high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and awareness of the other colleagues whilst driving the trucks.
This position will suit someone who can demonstrate a high energy level, with a “can do” attitude and a keen eye for detail. The jobs are long terms ongoing roles.
Hours of work available are similar to 6am - 14pm, 14pm - 22am and 22pm - 6am, working any 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rotational basis.
Uniform is provided as well as training. There are canteen facilities and a free on site car park. There are temporary to permanent possibilities for the right candidate.
Pay begins at £6.50> > £8.80 + bonus pay available after hitting performance target.
